Claudio Oriani

Hello everybody! My name is Claudio Oriani and I work as an IT expert, but I graduated in Archaeology in 1997 and I have a firm and deep belief in the connection between the IT world and our cultural, historical and archaeological heritage. I like to think about the Web as a virtual place to enhance the huge, but often not appreciated, Italian and Roman cultural heritage.

So I started pursuing this path in 1996, with the creation of a tourist routes section for the web site www.roma2000.it. Then I also created a search engine for farm holidays and some travel agencies sites.

Finally, in 2009 I became a tourist guide for Rome and its province in English and Italian of course!

My graduate and post graduate studies were about classical archaeology, so I would like to take you on a virtual journey through time and make you actually discover all the secrets, anecdotes and legends of the ancient world through new and ingenious paths.

Fasten your seat belts... our time machine is leaving!!!
